We are Burcu AteÅŸ, Predrag Milić and Laura Sobral, three urban researchers from different parts of the world. Following our joint framework called “Urban Trialogue”, we aim at interweaving three traditionally separated dimensions of city-making: practices of local communities, pedagogies of urban professionals and policies of decision-makers. Our idea is to foster post-disciplinary exchange among these dimensions in order to enable decolonial approaches for context-specific, inclusive and just results in city-making.
We are keen on challenging the conventional knowledge production in academia by celebrating the diversity regarding our backgrounds, interests and capabilities. We try to show the plurality and complexity of processes towards a more decolonial representation and narration of them. We hope you will enjoy taking part in our journey to a more just world!
